How can i change my yahoo user name without closing my current one and reopening another one?

Log in to your Messenger, in Messenger, click on "Messenger" on the top of the page, then click on "My account Info", this will cause you to have to log in again, so don't get discouraged. Once you log in, you'll be sent to "Yahoo Central" where all this type of stuff is done. Follow instructions, when you're finished, don't forget to "save" your changes...you'll be all set
