How can i change small letters typed in microsoft office word to capital letters without retyping. ?

Are there possible means to this, or change from small text to capital letters in any other window application apart from office word.

  1. If you type it in lower case, it has to be re-typed in uppercase.


  2. Word is the only MS Office application I know of that handles that, and apart from a word processing application (as opposed to a word PROCESSOR), I doubt any application would bother to.

  3. in word, select the text you wish to convert and then go to format menu and select font.  Under the font tab select either all caps or small caps ...all caps makes everything uppercase, small caps makes everything small uppercase except for where you typed capitals, they will show large ...unfortunately, there is no way that i know of to reverse the process, but moving forward if you always type in sentence case you have the option to move to all caps or small caps and then back as required
