How can i change the memebership type of a group after creation. I want that it should not be open to all...?

This problem has nothing to do with yahoo messenger. I have created a new yahoo group and now anyone can add him or her without my permission. How can I change the membership type for the group so that anyone can not join the group on their own without my permission...

management- under group settings click membership- Membership Type and Welcome Message (Edit) <-- click the edit- sellect *Restricted (you approve all requests for membership) - click save changes-

this will then require membership approval

are you reference to Yahoo Messager?

for your ist question<, you just create a new group.

after the creation, just move the person ( ID) to the new group.

for your second question:

1. your invisible to everyone.

2. right click on the persion Id ( the person that you want be appear)

3. select " stealth setting"

4. appear online to "  your friend ID"

The owner of the group should "grant" you the permission to approve members / messages etc. Contact your group's owner about this issue ([e-mail])
