How can i check if a product is in stock at a store's website?

i wanna buy something for my little brother from toys r us. hes like a puzzle demigod! i'm gonna buy him a rubik's professor's cube and wanna see if it is in stock at the nearest store. i was wondering, too. can i buy something from their website and pick it up at the store? i know you can do that in best buys and i'm just wondering if i can do it in toys r us.

I work for TRU, and unfortunately we don't have a feature on the website to see if your local store carries an item, nor do we have "site to store" pick up. There are so many things on the website that we don't even carry in the store. We get tons of phone calls every day from people just checking to see what we have and compare prices, so you can call your local store and ask them if they have it, won't take more then a few minutes of your time. ^_^
