  1. Generally when a vehicle is transferred the V5 is re-issued to the new keeper AND a letter is sent to the old keeper advising them that the change has been recorded. Note the OWNER and KEEPER are not the same. The owner is normally the person who bought the car and whose name is on the dealer paperwork. The keeper is the person who gets the speeding tickets.

  2. Call your local Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) office and I am sure they will tell you if your name is off the registration or not. Then if they say its not and you think your ex forged your signature tell the MVD ppl that you did not sign it that your name was forged.

  3. Contact the DVLA

    http://www.dvla.gov.uk

  4. Ring the DVLA Swansea.

Give them them the registration number ask them to confirm

YOU are on the registration document as the named keeper.

They will confirm whether you are but are not allowed to reveal whose name is on if it is not yours.

  5. Car, house?? Bit more info required.

  6. phone the people you are registered with and ask them if your name is on it, if yes then tell them the information is wrong and you want your name removed

  7. Yeah, call your local DMV and ask them to send you a copy of the current registration for the car in question.
