  1. You don`t say what country you are in. Just ring a local electrician or electritian supplier. They will put you right.

I`m pretty experienced in this stuff but I always check with experts if in doubt.

  2. for the most part a 100 amp panel is a standard size for a house but if you have a current clamp you can

open the panel or fuse box and clamp it over each circuit hot wire the current should exceed 80% of the breaker amp rating or fuse rating. you.

    14awg wire should be a 15 amp

    12awg 20amp

and so forth please call an electrician if the current exceeds the 80% of the fuse or breaker rating

  3. Also check your outlets on the individual circuits. If you take off the cover plate you will see "15A" or "20A" stamped lightly into the front of the outlet. If your outlets are rated for 15Amps, you must use a 15Amp fuse, even if the wire is 12 gauge (20 amp wire).

  4. Generally speaking - If the wire is 14gauge you use a 15amp fuse and a 20 amp fuse for a 12gauge wire. If you cant tell it wont be the end of the world, nor unsafe, to use 15a fuses. It would be very strange to require 10a fuses.

If you go with 15a fuses and one blows, no NOT just put in a 20a fuse. You must first verify the wire size. All this assumes you are in US on 110v service.
