  1. No legitimate sweepstakes requires you to give them a credit card.  Sounds like a scam to me.

  2. You didn't win anything.  Someone's trying to scam you.

  3. It's a scam.  Any real prize would not require the use of your credit card.  Think about it.

  4. I guess you'll just have to ge a credit card, then.

  5. If you have to have\use a credit card to claim any prize - you are being scammed.  No prize should ever require payment of any type to get it.

Delete the email or trash the snail mail that you got on this.  It isn't real.

  6. If you need a credit card to claim a prize, it's not a prize. It's a scam.

  7. Hi there,

Credit card debt is a massive problem millions of people are facing at the moment and can really ruin your life. Repossessions are going through the roof because people cannot afford to live with the massive rises in the cost of living.

You really need to minimise your credit card debt and ideally get rid of it.

Firstly, consolidate your cards into one with a zero interest deal, if you can. Then get rid of all the others and start paying the one that is left off. It does mean you are going to have to cut back and live within your means, but that is no bad thing.

Paying off your credit card debt can take some time and will require discipline on your part but it can be done.

Hope that helps, but please let me know if you need any more info :)

  8. If you won a real prize, they would just give it to you.  Why would you need to give them a credit card number?  That should be your clue that it is a scam!

  9. why do you need a credit card to claim a prize? Are you being scammed by some company, don't fall for that one please! if you have genuinely won something, they wouldn't need you credit card to claim anything

  10. Please don't fall for it, it's most likely to be a scam.  I'd try contacting the Better Business Bureau.
