How can i clean scratches off my lcd camera screen??

how can you clean a scratch?, a scratch is not a smudge, it's a damage, and you just can't get rid of it. Not being negative, but i don't think you can get rid of it :P Take it from someone who knows, those scratches aren't fun, i have one or two on my nikon d40's screen, and i can't get it off. So i can say there's no way you can clean it off, you'll just have to live with it =)

There is no real safe way to remove scratches, unfortunately you can not simply clean them off. there are ways of buffing them out (,much the way you do when some one keys you car bonnet (which some kind person did to my car last week!!!)) but on a camera screen this could prove tricky and not worth the cost.

Some cameras can be sent back to the manufacturer and have the thick glass like plastic covering replaced for a nominal fee, how this is not possible with all cameras.

The best thing to do is to live with at and use screen protectors which are thin bits of plastic that stick onto the screen and take all the damage, and when there are to many scratches, you just peel it off and stick a new one on.
