To clear the history click on Tools then Internet Options. Under General click on Clear History. Remember, this only gets rid of sites visited. Your search bar will still have the sites listed. Here's how to clear that as well.:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

go to tools and click browsing history, or click ont he star by favorites and you can delete one website or page a t a time or go to internet options and delte everything because if somebody types iont he first few letters the computer remebers.

Go to and click Tools, scroll and click Browser Options, scroll to history and click CLEAR URL'S then click Ok. Works immediately.

go to the top of the screen. If you see "tools" click on that. Go to internet options, History and delete. If you don't have to tools on top. Go to your computer, then select internet options. You can delete every thing from there.
