How can i collect information to make a phone directory?

I'd like to make a phone directory (with the contact information) based in the trucking industry but don't know how to collect the data for it, how can i gather the information I need? can anybody help??

Try going to the links below. First 'yellow-pages' and then look for list brokers in the search box.

Be aware that these 'List Brokers' will charge you.

Enter the area or areas you are looking to build the directory listings.

Also use the INTERNET to find if your idea has mileage before you go spending money. Use the following tips

Search for what you are thinking of doing

eg trucking telephone directories, trucking companies, alternatively email or contact the trucking companies and ask if they would like a ' FREE LISTING ' in a new directory and ask them for the best address and contact details.

Also and more importantly see what competition is out there for this service.
