How can i compress a 1.86GB video to under 1GB?

Its over 5minutes long and i don't want to chop the video, is there any way i can compress the file?

i have windows movie maker but nothing else

  1. try making into a RAR file it will divide the file into 2 making it easiler


  2. Try a converter like Total video converter.

    And convert it to MPEG4 format

  3. Try Divx or Try to convert it to mp4

  5. whats the current format? you can easily compress the video to under 1gb but generally the smaller you make the file the lower the resolution, checkout magic video converter it has lots of options
