How can i compress a 1.86GB video to under 1GB?

Its over 5minutes long and i don't want to chop the video, is there any way i can compress the file?

i have windows movie maker but nothing else

try making into a RAR file it will divide the file into 2 making it easiler

Try a converter like Total video converter.

And convert it to MPEG4 format
