How can i concentrate on my essay?

Hey everybody. I have an english essay in tomorrow and i am really having trouble focusing on it. My teacher is very strict so there is no way i can't hand it in. I don't normally have this trouble but for some reason this time i just can't do it, probably because its been a while since i've done one. I need to finish as soon as possible. Does anybody have any tips to help me to get on and do it? Thank you so much in advance xxxxxxxx

Sometimes it is really difficult to focus for various reasons, but since you still have an essay to turn in, you have to get past that, at least to an extent. It sounds like wherever you are working on it isn't working for you. Go to another room, absolutely the most boring room or the library, with all of the supplies that you could possibly need. Have a beverage with you so you don't make an excuse to get up. Does it have to be a certain length? What I sometimes do then is promise myself, "Okay, write 100 words, then take a break for five or ten minutes." And then I come back and do the same thing again. Once you have the length, make sure it all flows. Or you can do the opposite- write it how you want and then fatten it up (not by using unnecessary words, though). Make yourself focus for short amounts of time, not long amounts of time. Best wishes!

if your writing it at home then go into a room where there is nothing that will distract you and just try and concentrate! (i do this and i finish my essay in like an hour!)

you need an inspiration. when i write an essay, i picture how it would be and how people would react when they read it.
