How can i confront my older brother?

I'm almost 15 and my brother is 17. He is a complete jerk to me.He never buys anyone in the family a birthday gift or a christmas gift. He is self centered. He calls me names like w***e, s**t, *****, ****, streetwalker, tramp and i hate him so much. He treats my mom and i like ****. But we always use my dad as a defense. He has a gf and i have no idea how she can love him. He screams at me everyday. If i just walk into the room he calls me a name. Also he has ADD. I need help. it's h**l everyday at my house. and i am in the middle of it. please help me!

Hey whats wrong with ADD... i got it. if he doesnt buy u **** on christmas dont buy him anything theres one problem solved if he calls you a w***e and you are then stop sucking the d**k..... if your not a w***e then who cares you know your not a w***e. and you only have 1 more year living with him.... im sure your mom will kick him out if he is still a d**k at age 18

Whew!  and why are your parents allowing all this ugliness to happen?  Why have all of you been raised with contempt rather than love?  Where is the respect and dignity in your family???

to see if you and your brother can somehow over come the terrible parenting you've been given and return to being good friends instead of competetive hostiles!

Okay well first off, try sitting down to talk to your brother. Really confront him, face to face. And be dead serious when you talk to him. Don't approach him like a little girl because if you do that will only make him respond to you like a little girl. Be mature about it. But to tell you the truth it is really not guaranteed that he will be mature about it if you are being mature.

So like I said, sit down and talk to him about how you feel about the way he treats you. And if he still acts like a jerk to you. Then you need to have a sit down with your parents about him. Because this isn't good. He is verbally abusing you!! And that needs to stop, IMMEDIATELY!!

If your parents continue to do nothing about the situation, then just try to hang in there. He will be off to college before you know it. In the mean time, try to spend less time home, only if you don't see any progress.

Once your parents have noticed that you do not want to be home, they will realize how bad it is really is.

Instead of focusing on him, ignore him. He does these things for attention.

Talk to your parents, explain how you feel. They are the ones to get control over your brother and his behaviour. You should not have to suffer from it.
