How can i connect 5.1 to 2.1 (DVD player to house system)?

I how one new dvd player there is only 5.1 audio available but i have in my house system support 2.1 system only so i can't change my house system i need solution or converter details pls

If your DVD player is a home unit, you will have a red/white set of RCA connectors that will output 2.0 to your distributed audio system, which is what it is looking for.

If it's a portable, you will have a stereo mini jack so you will have to go to Radio Shack and purchase a "stereo mini to RCA" adaptor, then plug that into the distributed audio system.
