I have an "X" reg polo, with a simple radio system. But i am thinking of getting a new one. I looked into getting a special car cd player for ipod connection but they were too expensive. Instead i found a cheaper one for MP3 player use, so could i buy an ipod connecter lead and use it the same way as you would use the MP3 lead? Can you buy simple ipod connecter leads?

Someone out there please help....i am so STUCK!!!

  1. get an iTrip. You plug it into your ipod and then into place where you would put a cell phone charger.

You'd have to set the iTrip and your FM radio to the same station (like 87.9 - its just an empty frequency).

And Ta-Da your ipod is playing through the stereo :)

  2. You need to buy a cord to attach to your car stereo to your iPod,unless it has a little hole when you can plug that cord in,you can't.

You can get these cords at wal-mart and stuff.

  3. Go to radio shack, they have 3.5mm (head phone jack) to RCA, to plug into the back side of your stereo where your real AUX should be located.

  4. It depend on the connections you have.

If you have a 3.5 mm input all you need to get is a male to male 3.5mm cable. plug it into the input and the headphone jack. If you can find an Ipod to 3.5 mm cable, it would work too. It may be more expensive though.
