How can i connect my laptop to my home tv aerial?

I have windows media centre on my laptop and want to use it to record things off the tv.

  1. You need to have a TV card first. For a laptop you can buy a card in a  stick that plugs into a USB port. This will have a socket to plug in your aerial. Maplins sell the TV cards and there are loads on Ebay too.
