How can i connect these speakers?!?

Question

I have two tall, thin speakers which have in the back, where you would normally find one white hole, and on the other one a red hole, these have some sort of latch with red and black on both!

so i am at a loss as to how to connect either one!

Please help me understand.

If they are both the same color, look for a - or a + on any of them, that is the key as well.

These are connections for the speaker wire itself not plugs.

so you push the clip down and put your split speaker wire into the different colour holes.http://www.electronicplus.com/images/pro...
