You can not purchase Cuban vintage cars , they are considered " patrimonium nacional" . You will not get an export license. Even in Cuba the vintage cars just the same as an apartment or house must be registered on the name of a Cuban citizen.

An old Lada starts from 4000 cuc ( +/- 5000 US$ ) an old timer Chevy starts from 10,000 CUC ( for Cubans !!! )

Nice thought but I believe you will be wasting your time.  They are such a tourist attraction and are irreplaceable.
