How can i contact someone that lives in Russia?

Basically, my dad moved to Russia last year and i haven't spoken to him since. The only reason is because i don't have his phone number or address..so i can't contact him in any way. :( and i really miss him. Is there a Russian directory or something lol. i dont know what to do...i tried about everything

  4. Do you have any idea even what city he is living in, or perhaps the name of the company he works for? If you know the company, try to find an e-mail address and write to them. Another possibility, but this is only an outside chance, if you know where he is, approx., write an e-mail to the American Citizen Services department of the American Embassy or the Consulate that serves the area where he is living. Most Americans living in Russia register with the US Consulate if they will be in Russia for an extended time. At the time of registration, the citizen has the option of listing people that the Consulate can release information to concerning the person living in Russia. If he didn't list you, then the Privacy act will not allow them to release this info.
