  2. audacity

  3. With total video converter!

  4. Download a particular free software that converts 'this to that' format. Use Yahoo! search to get free stuffs.

    I've done so.

  5. This is a protected file as mentioned before. Easiest way to get around this would be to buy/borrow 1 CD-RW (a rewritable cd).

Put the blank CD-RW in the drive burn all the songs you want to cd within iTunes.

Now close iTunes and open windows media player and there will be an option to rip the cd into windows media player library.

Then wipe the CD and repeat the process. I think you can change the options in iTunes so that you can make an MP3 CD, this means you can transfer around 200 songs at a time.

Also if your not worried about the CD's you dont have to use a re-writeable.

NO SOFTWARE CAN GET ROUND THE PROTECTION unless you have a very old version of iTunes and something like jHymn

  6. ..if you have winamp..you can convert m4a files to mp3 files..

    >first open the m4a file with winamp>then select the file on the playlist editor>right click it and then format converter>select mp3 encoder and you're done.

    >>this works with the latest version of winamp.

  7. mp4A is a protected file and it is often difficult to convert to MP3. If you have the right software, it can be easy. myFairTunes is an easy software which connects to your iTunes authorisation details and uses them to convert to a non protected format. However, they have stopped producing new versions to be compatible with the newer versions of iTunes.

You can either download an old copy of iTunes and use myFairTunes with it (try Old Apps website). Otherwise, you can try Sound Taxi. It seems to be able to convert the protected files fine. If you want a high VBR copy of the MP3, then convert it to a WAVE format (which is uncompressed) and then use better software to convert to a high quality MP3 format (such as VBR 0 or VBR 1).

  9. No need to download software, you can do it online.
