How can i convert mechanical energy to electric energy using a brush less electric motor.?

I already know how can i convert mechanical to electric energy using the explanations from this link

But what if i want to use a brushless electric generator? Is that possible?

  1. Sure,  most brushless motors will act as a polyphase (likly 3 phase) alternator if driven mechanically. You may or may not find polyphase AC useful, but it can be converted to DC with diodes.


  2. The key is to have a motor with some type of magnetism.  it may be permanant magnent or a have a seperatly excited field but then you would have brushes . so the easiest way is with a Per. Mag motor

  3. easy just buy a dc motor that has permanent magnets and turn it.
