Question:

How can i convince a dr. to give me morphine or oc?

i mean..i do have really bad back pain..but is that enough to get strong painkillers from a doc?

  1. Just ask her. There's like a millions of doctors. If she won't give u one then find a different one.


  2. if he/she has not diagnosed your problem, done tests or anything, i doubt that you would get morphine. if he/she thinks it is a muscle problem, you would get muscle relaxers. if it seems to be a deeper injury you might get a mild narcotic. i suffer all of the time from herniated disc pain in my back and also in my neck and am on disability for fibromyalgia and mine never gives me anything stronger than loracet.

  3. Well my father had to take morphine for his butt.  He really didn't want to take them for the pain because it made him sleepy and he didn't like the way it  made him feel.  I think if you could talk to the dr. and them him/her know that you are not able to function without your back hurting then maybe they would hook you up.
