How can i convince my doctor to give me a full cast?

i broke my growth plate in my thumb in march. i reinjured it. last time he only gave me a half cast that i never kept on b/c i could take it off. i think i rebroke it again how can i convince my doctor to give me a cast that i cnt take off?

they will only give you a full cast if you need one, you need to learn to do what you're told and wear the half cast as instructed!

i think you should go to a different doctor.. or stop breaking you thumb?

or if that's not possible...just plain flat out ask him to give you something that you won't mess with so it can heal properly
