How can i convince my family to get a Hamster?

I want a pet really bad, I love animals and spent all summer trying to convince my family to get a dog, unfortunately that didn't work so now I'm working on a hamster, my siblings are on board and my dad is okay with it, but my mother hates all types of animals, i just really need a few reasons to get a hamster, please help. Thanks

Hi Lexi, most important you should try to talk and convince your mother that you will take care the hamster with care. Means that you will not leave the hamster later unattended (means : you dont care for its meal, its vitamin, etc.). You must understand that having a hamster (should  your mom give you a chance to have it) is having a responsibility.

You have to be responsible for it. Never let your hamster die later only because of your reckless to take care its needs.

If you can convince your mom ( I trust you can do it), your mom definitely will give you a chance to have it.

be really nice and do chores without being asked, i'm currently trying to get a hamster too! PLUS say your going to take care of it and your mom doesn't have to worry bout it..
