How can i convince my friend to play world of warcraft?

i have a friend that plays maplestory and runescape and other games

when i suggest wow when were bored he says "im not playing that nerdy game" i think he should try it cause he L0VES pvp where you can raid a city or town or even some people minding there own buisness its like the pefect game for him i know i cant make him play but i would llike him to aleast try it out i mean he plays runescape for gods sake
