How can i convince my husband to brush his teeth at night.?

is it normal for people not to brush their teeth at night. i have to brush or i can not sleep/

If he has not been doing this his entire life, it's a hard habit to form. I'd try telling him that what ever he eats all day ends up rotting in his mouth during the night while his mouth remains closed during sleeping. Imagine, that pork chop or chicken breast enclosed in a hot, moist mouth for 8 hours or more...it's the makings of rotten meat!!! Maybe that'll scare him into brushing. It's an awful thought!

Yeah, it's normal for a lot of people but I wish it wasn't. Personally, I have to do it otherwise I'll feel sick in the morning (I don't really know why but I do).

Just tell him he wont get ANY kisses or whatever makes him happy unless he brushes his teeth. Remember, while it's his mouth, you have to share it sometimes...

Explain to him that it's important to brush at night, otherwise your mouth is basically left defenseless to the germs and nasty stuff that causes cavities to form all night.

Dentists prescribe brushing within 30 minutes after each meal to avoid cavities...Take Care

So buy him some mouth wash tooth paste and a toothbrush,  wrap it up in a s**y little nighty and present it to him saying you  love to kiss him right after he has just brushed his teeth.  then give him that old wink and a smile and watch as he rushes off to the bathroom to brush.  It will work, trust me.

fix his toothbrush with toothpaste when you do yours...then go hand it to him...or say "honey, I fixed your toothbrush..will you brush with me?"... or fix it and leave it laying out for him as a reminder....
