How can i convince my mom to decorate my room with posters?

We just moved into a brand new house and all the walls are the same color and my mom wants the whole house to be "coordinating" but i really want to cover one of my walls with band pics ,like the whole wall. I need to know how to convince her how to let me do that

First cover the walls with nude girls posters.  I guess she will be so relieved to have them removed that she will not object to have your bands posters instead.

Buy the artist's sticky putty below. Either the Blue Stix or the Removeable Glue Dots (Scroll way down to the bottom of the web page).

They are cheap and will stick your posters to the walls and not leave any mark when you take them down. Your mom should be OK with that.

Tell her each room should have it's own vibe to show uniqueness. Since the walls are new, don't use thumbtacks. You can use tape or the sticky tack that's like blue or whatever. It works great.

Tell her that it is your room and you don't want the wall to flow, you want to express yourself and your creativity.

How can she say no to creativity?

ask her if you can put the posters on the wall with the door that you walk in. I mean, like when you walk in the door. you see the wall to the left, the right and straight ahead. You wouldnt see it til you turned around anyway.. So if you leave your door open..your room would appear to coordinate with the rest of the house..until you actually walk into your room and turn around to see the wall that the door is in. see?? that way, you both win. =)
