How can i convince my mom to get me a school bag, she keeps on saying i dont need a new one =[ please help?

That's the same with me! My parents always say but you have a perfectly good one. Then say "I know it's good but I wanna try something new! And I am paying for it with my own money! It will last me a long time! Please?" And if that doesnt work then just say "How about if I do chores for it?" Try giving them something for you to get it.

Just tell her whats wrong with the bag you have, and that you will buy the new one. If it's in good condition you could try to sell the old bag so she doesn't feel like your wasting too much of your money.

If you're paying for it, nothings wrong with that unless you have bunches of bags like 20+

But if not, nothings wrong! They're like crazy telling you that.

What grade are you in? You are going to be lugging books(heavy,heavy books) and school supplies around.

I don't see why she's not letting you get one if you're going to pay for it. Sit down and talk to her and ask her why. Maybe you'll be able to see what she means, and maybe she will see why you want one and let you buy yourself one.

If she still won't let you get one, jazz up your old one or get a plain canvas bag and decorate it by hot-gluing on rhinestones, buttons, felt, old earrings, fake flowers, and adding pins and ribbons.
