  1. It really depends on your maturity level, and experience with flying.

Do you get lost much around town, and in large buildings?  Or can you find your way pretty well?

My dad worked for an airline for most of my childhood, so we flew free when I was little, therefore we flew a LOT.  So by the time I was a teenager, I was very comfortable with the whole airport experience.  My first flight alone was when I was 15, from my mom's house to my dad's.  There was a connection in Chicago.  So what they did was, my mom put me on the plane in the town we lived in.  My dad flew to Chicago and met me there.  Then he and I flew to his town together.  On the way home, they let me do it by myself.

So...it's certainly possible.  I'd say you just have to a) be able to handle it, and b) be able to demonstrate that to your mom.

Sorry, that sounded a lot more helpful in my head before I typed it :)

  2. Just buy the tickets, she cant stop you!

Why would she even be against you going?

  3. By buying the ticket yourself!

  4. are you staying with your friend?

Have her parents talk to your parents................

nothing you can say will work.............let the parents talk.........
