How can i convince my mom to let me go?

i wanna go to a bon fire with someone she barley knows...she said that she'd think about it....but at the last min she'll prolly say no....what can i say to convince her??? would telling her that i'll call her whenever she wants or giving her a cell number to call whenever she wants or what? cuz i dont want to annoy her

It depends on how old you are, if your 13 then i understand where she is coming from but if your like 15 or 16 you need to tell her to let you go and do things, if she doesn't just sneak out! hehe

tell her your a teen and at this time of life, you need to have fun. also, it will boost your social skills (maybe?) & popularity.

Think of this: do you think she has legitimate reasons for telling you not to go? In general, teens who are trustworthy are trusted. tell her you will call. Do what you gotta do, but she is worried about you because she cares. If my mother had let me go to all the events i wanted to, my life would be terrible right now.

The best thing you can do is tell your mother where you will be going (address), phone number. Tell her it's time for you to build trust in your relationship, this is a very good opportunity for you to earn that trust. If she let's you go, make sure you come home on time (a little early) and make sure you answer your cell phone if it rings. Also, if there is alchohol at the party, use your best judgement.
