How can i convince my mom to let me have an airsoft gun?

I am a responsible, straight A, 13 year old who has pocket knives and has shot real pistols and rifles before and has a decent shot.

Just get one and bring it home. Show your parents that it isn't dangerous, and also let them know that pocket knives are actually lethal weapons, and can be used to kill people. However, also explain to them that NO airsoft gun ever created could ever do more damage to you other then a little welt. If you have a battle, use a paintball mask. It will make your parents happier, and it'll protect your eyes. Just don't be stupid with it, and your mom will eventually become more acceptant of the gun. (between you and me, Echo 1 guns are the way to go)

I really liked what Sandy H. said! You cant go wrong with trying a straightforward approach like that.

I would also stress to her that being the responsible young man you are , you will most certainly learn the safety equipment required for air-soft (like glasses) and use said equipment every time you play.

if u get good grades, then tell her if u do get good grades... then she will probably give it to you. trust me, it always works with my mom.

if ur mom is buying it, tell ur u will buy it (if u have the money)

Tell your mom that anything under the velocity of 350 fps won't break skin and you can always just be the q***r in the battle with the vest but at least you will be able to airsoft just make sure that when you are talkin airsoft with your parents that you make it clear that proper protection comes before then gun using this plan will convince your mom and you will suceed

Well as a responsible  13 yr. old.... tell mom like this:

"Well mom, I'm not asking for a BB gun or a Pellet Gun, I'm only asking for an airsoft gun......and you know how responsible I am"!!!  Please Mom?????
