  1. Hi there.

    Here are my suggestions:

    - Read The Teenage Liberation Handbook: How to Quit School and Get a Real Life and Education  by Grace Llewellyn  Grace Llewellyn has a whole chapter on convincing your parents.  This book will also give you a whole new view of what it's all about to educate yourself.

    - Make a list of reasons why you want to be homeschooled and what you're willing to do to have that privilege.

    - Write a contract.  Include reasons you want to be homeschooled, what you're willing to do in return for that privilege, and consequences that you can live with, if you don't live up to your end of the bargain.

    - Check out your state's homeschool laws so you know what you have to work with.  Doing research on homeschooling may also show your parents that you're serious it.

    Good luck and God bless.

  2. Here's some good tips for talking with your parents about homeschooling. I have 2 teens who homeschool and they are very active socially and not bored at all. They have time to pursue their interests, be involved in the community and participate in sports and church.

  3. hi the best thing about home schooling is you can go as fast as you want I mean you get your workbooks and your chart and make a list of what you want to get done in day there are so many opportunities and  things to experience and no pressure to look a certain way every day and you have more personality that can evolve

  4. I would start by making a list of why you want to homeschool and gather research about homeschooling:

Here's a chart that compares homeschooling and public school:

    Statistics:

    Pros and Cons:

As for getting bored, there are numerous activities you could get involved in.  Here is some information about homeschooling activities:

Find information like this to share with your parents, and other information to address their concerns.  You could ask them for a trial period to see how things work out.

    Good luck!

  5. Giving them a list of ideas of why you should be homeschooled is a start, and I DO NOT recommend online classes. You will get distracted and bored. Make sure one of them is up to homeschooling you.

  6. You need to give them some good examples of why you want to be homeschooled you know parents need a answer for everything
