How can i cook something withzucchi

i have a zucchhii and i dont know what i can make with it any ideas?

  1. Fried Zucchini!  :)

    Ing:

    *Olive oil, for frying

    1 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan

    1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs

    3/4 teaspoon salt

    2 large eggs

    3 medium zucchini, cut into 3-inch long by 1/2-inch wide strips

    Dir:

    Pour enough oil into a large frying pan to reach a depth of 2 inches. Heat the oil over medium heat until a deep-fry thermometer registers 350 degrees F.

    Stir 1 1/2 cups Parmesan, the breadcrumbs, and salt in a medium bowl to blend. Whisk the eggs in another medium bowl to blend. Working in batches, dip the zucchini in the eggs to coat completely and allow the excess egg to drip back into the bowl. Coat the zucchini in the breadcrumb mixture, patting to adhere and coat completely. Place the zucchini strips on a baking sheet or large plate.

    When the oil is hot, working in batches, fry the zucchini sticks until they are golden brown, about 3 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the fried zucchini to paper towels and drain.

    Zucchini Bread

    Ing:

        * 2 cups shredded raw zucchini

        * 3 eggs

        * 1 3/4 cups sugar

        * 1 cup vegetable oil

        * 2 cups flour

        * 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

        * 2 teaspoons baking soda

        * 2 teaspoons cinnamon

        * 1 teaspoon salt

        * 2 teaspoons vanilla

        * 1 cup chopped walnuts

    Dir:

    Put zucchini in strainer and press or squeeze with hands to get excess liquid out. Beat eggs, sugar, and oil together. Add flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, salt, vanilla, and walnuts. Mix together by hand. Add drained zucchini. Mix well. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake 55 to 65 minutes at 350°, or until a wooden pick or cake tester inserted in center comes out with very little cake clinging to it.


  2. I like to use zuchinni in the place of noodles and make lasagna.

    It is also great just sauteed in butter and olive oil with salt, pepper, and a dash of oregano. It makes a great side dish.

    try slicing it long ways liek from the stem to the other side. season with olive oil pepper, natures seasoning (if you dont have this you can find it in any walmasrt. it is an absolute necessity) salt and garlic salt or a garlic rub if you have one.

    grill until slightly browned.

    if you have a thinner slice that wants to go down throught the openings in your grill try using a sheet of tin or aluminum foil.

    1. you can grill it. cut it up into piece, brush/dip into olive oil, salt & pepper them, and lay the on the grill or make them into kebabs.

    2. saute them in a pan (with olive oil or butter) with salt and pepper.

    3. make zucchini bread (it doesn't taste like zucchini)
