How can i cool down my bedroom?

Question

Well my bedroom is too hot and i find it hard to sleep.

I think the cause is my laptop and xbox 360 which tend to get hot and give off a lot of heat.

I need to cool it down but i wont open the window because there are a lot of flys and bugs around and they really annoy me. Also i dont have air conditioning.

So how can i cool my room down?

I'd add a ceiling fan if your ceiling is high enough. I'd also add a screen to your window so you could have the window open. Once you have a screen you can use a box fan to push the hot air out of the room through the window.

To add to "I8AShroom"  In another part of the house, open a screened window so you create a cross breeze effect in your house.  This other window should not be next to or above concrete, like a patio or driveway, as concrete and dirt tend to retain heat longer than say an area that is tree covered.

Put a screen in your window and get a fan.  Pull down the shades during the day

get a fan and a power strip to shut off your xbox when not in use

Get a fan that fits in your window (it will also keep out bugs) and blow it in at night.  We do that and sometimes it feels like the room is air conditioned!

Hey Bro

You can also put foil on the inside of your bedroom windows and black them out  or buy a water cooler that helps

and is cheaper on the electric bill
