How can i cool off my laptop?

my laptop tends to get kind of hot is there a good way i can cool it down so that it is not hot

how long do you tend to use it, becuase keeping it on for a long time even when you are not using it is not good for the computer. I recommend turning it off for a while.

buy a cooling pad.  You can find them at pretty much any store they sell laptops, electronics, computers etc. Walmart, best buy, staples etc.

well, you can turn it off for a while

or do what i do :

you can buy a fan that runs from your usb

and is moveable, aim it at the battery

and it will cool!

it works!

You should always try to keep your laptop on a hard flat surface... Putting it on carpet or a couch or something will block the small fans on the bottom.  If you cannot avoid this for some reason, look into buying a usb laptop fan.  Here's a link:

That will keep it a lot cooler than just the fans alone.  Hope I helped

Put something under it so that it is up off the table. Like put little blocks under the corners so that it can get ventilation underneath.

I know they call them laptops but you really shouldn't hold them on your lap.  Try working on a table or other firm surface.  (You are 98% F) add that to the computer's normal processing temperature....yikes!

if u have it plugged into the charger it will get hot and keep it on a flat surface caz therers a fan on the bottom of most of em and it will take away the hot air i think =D
