How can i cover my acne scars? I'm so insecure.?

I have acne scars on my cheeks due to the fact i used to have pretty severe acne. My face is blemish free, and smooth, but i still have a major self confidence issue with my acne scars.

I've tried to put a think layer of concealer/foundation on them with cheek blush, but they still show. I don't want to put a lot of makeup on and make my face look like it's caked on.

Any suggestions on how to hide these horrible marks?

1) Cook oatmeal and apply on face for fifteen minutes and wash.

2) Make a warm bath with blanch of nettle and rosemary.

3) Apply equal amount of lemon juice and rose water with a cotton ball and wash it after haif an hour for 15 to 20 days.

I have acne scars as well due to horrible heredity :( Eventually they go away, but getting any scar healing beuty products such as Mederma PreferOn will make the scar less noticable. They take weeks to months for any real improvement, so try sticking to coverup in the meanwhile at least.

But what's always helped for me is knowing that people aren't talking to my acne or acne scars or any of my imperfections, they're talking to me :)

I have the same problem. My friend suggested that I use a type of medicine that helps get rid of scars. Its called New Skin Scar Therapy. It has helped get rid of my scars. For some scars it takes a lot of time but others they start to disappear very quickly.  But some scars do not totally go away but it is less noticeable.

why don't you treat it first?

did you ever try using astringent? use it for a month just to get rid of the first layer scar then just continue with a good soap.

i had pimples before and i just treated my face with astringent then i just  maintain it with a soap. right now i'm using a Silka papaya soap and my skin, not only my face but in general became better after..blemish free.

you can also buy it at an asian store..it doesnt have to be the same brand or company as long as it is papaya soap. im sure it will work!
