How can i cover or repair doggie chew marks on my dresser?

thanks for the answers, but isnt there a easier way? its just on one small part of the dresser leg.

Use wood filler and then sand and refinish.

The only repair I've used is to fill in the chew marks with wood filler, sand smooth and paint the furniture.

you may be able to use wood fill on just that piece and try to match stain or paint color

if the legs are detachable you could buy new legs and finish those to match

there isn't really a standard fix
