How can i create a wi-fi signal generator so that i can use free internet?

You can BUY a WiFi adapter for $25 or so.  Even if you could make one, it would cost more than it would be worth!  And, by the way, most WiFi Hotspots are NOT free -- you have to pay a fee for a certain slice of time, $2.95 for two hours, for instance.

Most people are smart enough to lock their network with a code.

But there are still those out there who have their WIFI wide open for anyone to use.

IDK if it's illegal to tap on to another persons WIFI, but I think it's better for all concerned to have your own connection.

Now if you have a friend close by and they agree, make sure your both in a locked network.

As far as getting a booster or generator as you call it, I think it's more trouble than it's worth.

Pay the $20 bucks. It's worth the security and reliable connection.
