How can i deal with acute form of seborrhoeic dermatitis on my scalp(it's a skin disorder)? please help ASAP?

if any body of you know a dermatologist or has suffered the same case as i do now , can you tell me how to deal with this ?????

it's a skin disorder causing scaly,flaky,itchy, red skin, PLEASE HELP ASAP

  1. i saw a dermatologist i had same problem he gave me a special soap for it , i will not give not name because i am not a doctor. if i were you i would only ask your doctor for a medical opinion, not strangers


  2. I have seborrheac dermatitis too. My dermatologist told me to use a shampoo that has selenium sulfide. Head and Shoulders makes one, it's in an all blue bottle, and Selsun Blue makes one too.I use the Head and Shoulder because it's like $2.00 cheaper, but you can use either one. You just have to check the back to make sure it says selenium sulfide not pyrethicone zinc...that stuff never worked for me. Oh and when you shampoo with it make sure to really work it into your scalp, don't scratch it or anything but make sure it gets to your scalp and let it sit on there for a few minutes.

    You have to use it for a few days before you have any relief, if it doesn't work then look up a dermatologist in your area.
