  1. well first of all if u haven't all ready i would go see ur doctor...and maybe get put on antidepressents...now those aren't a cure or anything...but they will help take the edge off...you need to get urself in to therapy and deal with whatever issues go along with the depression...but for everyday coping...the trick..is distraction...puzzles, videogames...read something positive...or something that makes u think. call a friend and chit chat...

and whatever else u like to do.

also i find it helps if u have something to look forward to...like even something small like a lunch date with a friend or something...

    hope i helped

take care and i hope you find peace!

  2. I heard that when you lack vitamine B's in your body it can cause depression.

    Try taking some.

If it doesn't help, ask God to come live inside your heart. He will fill it with his peace and free you. It happened to me. Worked.

    God Bless.

  3. Once you have a depression diagnosis, your doctor will discuss the different depression treatment options with you. The kind of depression treatment that’s best for you depends on the type of depression you have. For example, some patients with clinical depression are prescribed antidepressants. Others are prescribed antidepressants and psychotherapy. Still others may undergo electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), also called electroshock therapy. This treatment may be used with patients who do not respond to standard depression treatment options

Whatever depression treatment your doctor prescribes, it’s important to understand that there are no “instant” solutions. You may have to try several antidepressants to find the most effective drug for you. In addition, you’ll have to take the antidepressant for several weeks to see if it benefits you at all. Being patient is important. Trust your doctor to know your personal history. With that, he or she can find the best depression treatment options that help improve your mood.

There are several types of antidepressants. These depression medications are also used to treat conditions that have depression as a component of the disease. For example, they might be used to treat bipolar disorder.

These drugs improve symptoms of depression. The major types of antidepressants include:

Tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs). TCAs primarily affect the levels of two chemical messengers in the brain, norepinephrine and serotonin. Although these drugs are effective in treating depression, they can have more side effects than other drugs. So they typically aren't the first drugs used.

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). MAOIs are most effective in people with depression who do not respond to other treatments. They are also effective for treating other mental illnesses. Substances in certain foods like cheese, beverages like wine, and medications can interact with an MAOI. So people taking this medication must adhere to strict dietary restrictions. For this reason these antidepressants also aren't usually the first drugs used.

Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). SSRIs are a newer form of antidepressant. These drugs work by altering the amount of a chemical in the brain called serotonin.

Serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs). SNRIs are another newer form of antidepressant medicine. They treat depression by increasing availability of the brain chemicals serotonin and norepinephrine

  4. First of all, cover the physical needs. Eat healthy, get exercise, adequate sleep and find something that helps you relax such as listening to music, yoga or hot bath. Then once those are taken care of, see a doctor if you don't feel better. Life is full of cycles and you could be in a down cycle right now.  It is temporary. I hope you soon feel better. See your doctor.

  5. The best treatment for depression is either:

    -exercise and antidepressants

    -therapy and exercise

    -therapy and antidepressants.

but if your not in to the whole therapy and antidepressants thing 15-30 mins of exercise 3 times a week will really help. I'm not talking about a nice walk through the park. You need to get your heart pumping and breathing hard. Hope it works for you!

  6. Step 1: Ensure your emotion is controlled daily. Don't over reacted, stay calm and don't get worry easily

Step 2: Think before your action. Don't repeat her past experience on herself. Remind herself from time to time.

Step 3: Be confident to yourselves. Remember everyone is the winner. "Only One sperms out of millions fertilize an egg"

Step 4: Get a group of close friends to share your experience and get some activities that would occupied your time

Step 5: Increase scope of life. Meaning that she should involve in more social activities like dancing, outing and others.

Step 6: Put a rubberband on the wrist. If there is a negative thought, Tighten the rubber band and release it. Hence the effect of the pain would be able to reduce the possibility of negative thought.

    Good Luck.
