How can i decorate my new room im a girl i have a bed in there a chair a few night stands a closet what else.?

i have a new room but i dont know what to do with it. I have like sea green walls im a girl i like bright stuff but i only get five dollers for money each month what should i do to my room i also have a walk out porch

Check out what you have to work with already. Be creative and use whatever you can to be creative. I got a lot of different buttons to match my room and strung them together with embroidery thread. I strung them together randomly and tacked them up with nails or push pins. I have a few ideas for you.

1. A collage.

Get old magazines and any paper that has cool stuff that you think describes you. You can use fabric (old clothes) wrapping paper, pictures, words anything. If you make it nice & flat you can put it in a frame or glue to a board or whatever you can find. My daughters room is decorated in fairies so she has a big fairy collage in a poster frame in her room.

2. Curtains.

Trust me they make a big impact. For a rod get a piece of dried bamboo and tie the ends with ribbon nailed to the ceiling (very cheap)

If you can, make your curtains an old sheet or blanket. If you cant sew use a hot glue gun.

3. Scrap book paper.

I have used scrapbook paper for so many projects its ridiculous. Matting for pictures, make chinese lanterns, you can make a boarder for your wall(its alot of work but well worth it) you can buy a pack of like 200 sheets for about 8 bucks.

4. Thrift store frames.

Empty frames, frame only, no glass. you can put anything on your wall and frame it, instant art! sometimes you can get em for like $1

5. Hang stuff from the ceiling.

Dont forget about you 5th wall. you can hang with ribbon or fishing line all kinds of things. find something you want to showcase and find a way, its that easy
