How can i decorate my room with horses???

Question

my mom told me if i finally clean my room i can decorate it how ever i want. (within my price range of course) and i just finished cleaning my room and i LOVE horses so ive decided i want to decorate it with a horse theme,nothing to crazy cuz i dont have a lot of money but i just want some cool ideas

Well, narrow down your choices by what you really like.

Do you like western horses? Or dressage? Appaloosa's? Or paints? Maybe you like quarter horses? Do you want horses running free? Or ones all primed for the show ring?

Mess around on google, or yahoo search, or whatever. Type in different things, write down the names of things you like. If you keep seeing that you like fresian horses, maybe you should decorate your room with that.

you could have people send you pictures and use them  to decorate....I pet people would love to make pics and other things to let you use....or you could go on line and down load pics of famous horses and use them.....as people to send you things with their horse having fun or competing or whatever.

I think you should get a horse catalog . Or maybe search for a website where they sell horse themed things.

i have all my horsetoys i have collected all over the years (im 14) on a shelf. Along with my horses halter hanging up. Also have picture frames oif my horses everywhere and have a horse doona. Also have sticker and a calendar :D

In my room, I have ribbons boardering my wall. Then on my bed, I have a blanket my sister made for my that has horses on it and a few stuffed horses that I collected over the years. On one shelf I have a whole bunch of breyer horses and stuff. On my walls I have photos of past horses and current horses and my horse Rio's horse shoe! (it came off and we decided no shoes for the winter, soooo I took it, lol!)

Well I know this sounds dumb, but my room is swamped with Breyer horse models. There's also horse stuffed animals all over the place. My walls are a deep red colour, and the furniture is brown leather (if you cant get brown leather just get brown) so it makes a great western look. Also, just try getting some general horse-y things, like horse calendar, horse notebooks, horse pictures etc.

I like the western rusted look, lots of demin, brown and the red bandana pattern; that's how my room is.  I have a wild horse boarded around my room with dark brown below it & an off white above. I have a demin comforter, my ribons at the top of my blinds & pictures of me & my horses all over my room. Also I love Breyers I have those in all my empty places, on top of my book cases, in front of my books, on my headboard. Also all my furniture is a med. wood finish.

You could find and have some horse portraits printed of famous horses and place them on the wall, you can find some cheap horse statues and wall hangings to go on shelves, a desk, or the wall. Maybe some drawings if you have them and cheap posters.....I have other Ideas but I'd need to know your budget.

Find a horse bed spread or blanket and use that to match other items you want in your room.
