How can i delete a posting from the yahoo Q&A?

You can only delete a question if it is still OPEN and it is your question. To do that, go back to the question (click your avatar, name, or "My Profile", click "My Questions, click the question), use the PENCIL on the right end of the toolbar under the question to access the drop-down editing menu, and click delete. If you do this, the question will be deleted from the database and the public view of your profile, but it will still show on your view of your profile, just greyed back so you can see it is not active.

Questions IN VOTING or RESOLVED are the property of Yahoo! Answers, since this is a public database, and cannot be deleted, except for violations, and then Y!A gets to make the decision, not you.
