  1. - just delete this icon on your desktop if it is already uninstalled...

  2. if it is in the shape of a shield then its a rogue spyware program. A rogue spyware program is a program that has popups that say you have dozens of viruses but you actually dont, its actually convincing you to buy the full version.

I would download either Spybot Search and Destroy or do what i did when i had this problem and download AVG for free.

  3. here is a video showing how to remove internet antivirus

  4. Its rogue or fake software

Malwarebytes is one of the best programs for removing fake software download, update and run a scan - http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

The other two programs to try are:

    SuperAntispyware: http://www.download.com/SUPERAntiSpyware...

    SmitFraudfix: http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.p...

Once you have removed it install Avast Anti-Virus and Comodo Pro firewall, then switch to Firefox 3 if you are browsing with IE this will stop it returning. (links on my profile)
