How can i delete the message under my user account saying unread mail message?

a friend signed in on my computer and now i am seeing his messages and i cant get it off what can i do

You may have to post your question again with more details. Are you talking about Yahoo mail, Outlook, Eudora, or something else? Anyway, you say he "signed in", try to "sign out" or close whatever application you're talking about, or if web based, close your browser (every window if more than one open). Again, if he signed in to something (as himself), and it's your computer, you should be able to close or sign out of it. Then open it again and sign in as you. There's no reason for you to see his email in your account, except for mail he sent to you.
