  1. First, I would save the websites you want to keep to favorites.  Then go to tools, click on internet options and clear your history.  This will clear all the sites you've visited and this is why I say to first save the ones you want to keep to favorites.

  2. You need to clear or disable Auto Complete. This saves all previous searches in your search bar. Here's how to fix the problem:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

This will clear all the websites from the address bar. I am unsure if there is a way to do just one.

  3. Go to your internet options. There you will be able to change or delete the web address saved as your home page or delete the web addresses you have visited in the past.

To get to internet options, you could either open your browser and click on tools in the uppper right of the window and at the bottom you will see "internet options". Once internet options is open, click on clear history and you're done!

The other way to get to INTERNET OPTIONS is go to the Start button on the bottom left of your screen then go to "control panel". In the control panel you will see "interent options". Afterwards, you should be fine!

  4. Try deleting it from the history.
