How can i determine the range that my modem will accept for wifi i have a westell 327w model modem?

i have a modem in my computer room and im getting a ps3 i just want 2 know if i could setup a wifi signal from my room which is prob about 50-60 feet away i dnt know the range of my modem i have a westell 327w model verizon dsl modemm how do i figure out my range for a wifi signal according to my modem we have a laptop setup to it so i know it works

Trial and error is the only way.  50 to 60 feet should work unless there are lots of walls, etc. in between.  If your laptop works where you'll be using the PS3, the PS3 should work as well.
