So, a guy in my apartment recently became a father and said he didn'twant his box with two 10 inch subs in it. The on is a 1000 watt JL sub and the other is a kentwood on which it doesnt say , however it doesn't say what the max watts are. How can i determine this?

Unfortunatly the gentleman who gave them to me moved out last wek and i didnt havea chance to ask him.

And does anyone have any suggestions on what to clock the subs at if the kentwood happens to be a 1000 watt aswell?

Is there any problem having theese two differn't brand of sub woofers in the same box?

Thanks!

  1. If there is no model number on the speaker there is no way to find out what the wattage capacity is.  If you can find a model number it will be easy to google it and get the specification.

I have not heard of clocking a sub.  What do you mean?  I would not want them both in the same box, but I suppose no harm would be done if they were.
