  1. Personally, I think it's impossible.Hit the link below There's a list of over 500 people who've asked the same question. Why not contact a few and see how they made out.You can E-mail them, let us know how you do.If it's possible you can open up a school for Amputee's and Parapelegics. If it were they'd have them already though.

  2. Read comic books and try to imitate what they do.

Comic books are the only place that telekinesis works.

Think about it from a logical perspective. To move something of physical mass, requires some force applied, which requires another physical mass. You can make the argument that you are creating a magnetic or gravitational force with your mind, however, this would mean all the stuff you move would just be attracted to your head and stick to your forehead. How useful is that?

Plus, you cant create a magnetic or gravitational force with your head, aside from the gravitational force that already exists. This would require changing the mass of your head.

Now if you could change the mass of your brain enough to create a strong enough gravitational force to attract objects to it, this would be a rather unique trick.

I will be looking out for your throbbing head.

  3. Short Answer:

Based on scientific studies to date, telekinesis (or psychokinesis, PK) has NOT been conclusively demonstrated. In fact, even the best results obtained so far continue to be under much debate and PK continues to be regarded with much skepticism by the scientific community. Since nobody has ever demonstrated that they have learned this power, no one honestly can tell you how to do it.

    Long Answer:

The Rhine Institute (founded by Joseph Banks Rhine, famous for being completely fooled by a "telepathic" trained horse, one of his many blunders), conducted many experiments to test PK including dice experiments. While True Believers are more than willing to believe these experiments prove PK, the truth is very different. Only one of the early experiments [1934-1946] employed a control series and this experiment “provided no evidence for psychokinesis but clear evidence for bias of the dice, since the dice tended to fall with the 6 face uppermost, whether it was being wished for or not” (Hansel 1989: 172). (see skepdic.com/essays link)

There was a research group at Princeton for about 25 years which worked on PK. The group, after working so hard and so long, refused to consider that their work was wasted, but outside objective analysis showed that their work was indeed a flop. There are a number of fatal statistical flaws in their experimental analysis that can be easily identified (see skepdic.com/pear link). In fact, reviews harshly critical of the experimental and statistical methods used by the Princeton group have been published, stating that they are "some of the poorest quality ESP experiments published in many years." (see tricksterbook.com link.)

Even some modern-day paranormal investigators are naive/credulous enough to be taken in by simple magicians, which tells you something about how ready and willing they are to believe in PK. One old magician commonly brought up by True Believers is Nina Kulagina, who is said to have performed PK on small objects after being thoroughly examined (even strip-searched) by KGB. The strip-search KGB claim is likely apocryphal and in any case is irrelevant since Kulagina's key performances were done for academic Russian scientists in their labs, not KGB agents. Today, magicians can easily duplicate her tricks. Kulagina used the thread trick to move objects, and a thread is very easily hidden even from strip-searchers. The compass trick is easily accomplished by embedding a magnetic sliver underneath the skin which likewise would be unnoticeable. Regarding the testing of Kulagina by the Russian scientists, "there were no miracles whatever. There was ordinary hoax."---Martin Gardner, Science Good, Bad and Bogus, Oxford University Press, 1983

The skepdic.com/essays link is a very thoroughly documented essay, and if you're interested and have the time, it will be a great resource for you to research the dubious history of telekinesis and psychic powers yourself. Have fun.

  4. If you already have inkling of "telekinetic powers" then just keep working on them.

Play second sight, the PS2 game.  John Vattic has various cool powers, which he first discovers in situations whe a strong reaction is elicited.  Alright, he already has the power, it's just a case of learning to use it.

For example, put something out of reach, like the key for a bike lock, then fix the bike lock round your ankle and attach yourself to something immovable.  Through force of need, if you do have any power there you'll have to use it.

Parapsychology dictates that powers like that have to be present already, think of it like a susceptibility to a disease.  It has to be there, dormant, then you have to encounter the right situation for it to show itself.

So called "psychic powers" tend to show up in puberty, mainly in girls, and at times of high stress.  So, just keep putting yourself in situations where telekinesis would be very useful (but nothing lifethreatening, please) and fingers crossed something'll develop.

  5. Psychokinesis (PK) - sometimes referred to as telekinesis or mind over matter - is the ability to move things or otherwise affect the property of things with the power of the mind. Of psychic abilities, true psychokinesis is one of the rarest. Few have been able to demonstrate this ability, and even those demonstrations are highly contested by the skeptics.....

Spirit Online offers this seven-step method of improving your PK:

    1. Meditate daily for half an hour, 15 minutes if your schedule is too busy.

    2. Attempt PK at least once a day, twice if possible. Give yourself a good 30-60 minutes to try it.

    3. Focus on one method for at least a week; if it shows no results, switch methods.

    4. Be at ease; instead of taking it too seriously, think of it as an experiment, a game. If you try too hard you'll just end up frustrating yourself and you'll get nowhere.

    5. Don't give up.

    6. Don't tell yourself you can't do it, because you can.

    BELIEVE!

    good luck !!!!

  6. It is unlikely that you will develop telekinetic powers. Nature is a great economizer. It is easier and simpler to move things by hand (or tool) than to try and use our low wattage brains instead.

As an interesting side note, the Russians reportedly tried an interesting experiment. Supposedly they gave several subjects a static electric charge (without their knowledge). They then instructed the subjects to move small, light objects by moving their fingers close to the objects. Naturally, the objects moved because of the static electric charge. After several days of  practicing their "telekinetic skills", they then grounded the subjects (without their knowledge). A small percentage were reportedly still able to move the objects.

  7. Grab something like a can of corn or something of similar size. Hold it over your head and begin meditating. As you enter a trance and feel the power being released, release your grip on the can. If you're successful, you'll remain in your trance and the can will levitate above your head. If you're not successful, the can will hit your head and wake you from your trance so that you can try again. Repeat until successful.
