  1. There are indeed UK funds that invest in Viet Nam.  You do not need a brokerage account that has access to the U K markets to invest in them though.  They are listed on the pink sheets.

There are 3 currently available on the pink sheets.

    VNMHF  Vietnam Holding Ltd.

    VTNKF  Vietnam Industrial Investments Ltd

    VTOPF  Vietnam Opportunities Fund Ltd.

The 1st and 3rd are probably your best bets but they are off significantly from their 52 week highs.   There is not transaction data on the 2nd.

  2. Look for mutual funds in your country that invest in emerging markets in Asia (India, China, Vietnam). This is the clearest route.

  3. If you really are interested google "invest in Vietnam" There are pages of listings.Foreigners can invest in VN but as you might imagine there are rules to follow. If you want to visit on buisiness you need a business visa and don't forget the dong is a closed currency.

  4. You can invest directly in Vietnam Property via certain fund companies, type it int google and see what happens.

Its a very good area to be investing in at the moment

  5. Open a Global Account with www.etrade.com in British Pounds, and you can buy the following Vietnam Investment Funds with the following symbols: VOF.LSE - VNI.LSE - VPF.LSE - VNH.LSE

  6. You can't.  It's a communist country so there is no public businesses or bonds.
